Core Information

Sin

Creator:Nakhon Ratchasima College of Dramatic Arts

"Sin" (The End) is a contemporary folk dance performance that won the 1st Runner-up award at the 1st "ISAN FOLK EXPERIMENT" competition for high schools in Northeastern Thailand, competing for the Royal Trophy of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The piece profoundly explores the ultimate truth of life, death, and separation. By blending contemporary choreography with Isan spiritual beliefs and funeral rituals, it powerfully reflects the Buddhist concept of impermanence ("Anicca Vata Sankhara") and the inevitable end of all mortal existence.
