"Bannasakkatatpanom" is a creative thesis performance from the 2022 academic year under the project "Huam Hoi," created by students majoring in Isan Folk Dance, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khon Kaen University. The performance is inspired by the historical era of King Phothisarat of the Lan Xang Kingdom. With his profound faith in Buddhism, he visited and restored the Phra That Phanom stupa, dedicating a total of 3,000 people to serve as its caretakers. He also established a royal tradition requiring his representatives to bring royal tributes and offerings to Phra That Phanom annually. This historical devotion is elegantly portrayed through exquisite and faith-inspired choreography.
