"Sathit Yang Nang Nakhon" is a narrative dance performance based on the Vessantara Jataka (the Great Birth Sermon). It depicts the triumphant and joyous return of King Vessantara, Queen Madri, and their children (Prince Jali and Princess Kanhajina) to the Sivi Kingdom. The performance highlights the grand "Basi Su Kwan" spirit-calling ceremony and the magnificent royal coronation. It beautifully captures the majestic royal attire, the immense joy of the citizens welcoming their king, and the blessings for a prosperous and enduring reign.
