"Roam Kanob Ting Tong" derives its name from the Khmer language, meaning "Praying Mantis." It is a traditional folk performance that imitates the lively, rhythmic, and energetic movements of a praying mantis. Its fun and engaging choreography has made it widely popular throughout the southern Isan region and neighboring provinces. Originally, the dance was performed by only two dancers, but it has since been developed and adapted for various events, allowing for a flexible number of performers depending on the venue and event size.
