Suep Hoi Ta Wa Hoi Pu

"Suep Hoi Ta Wa Hoi Pu" is a creative and conservative Isan dance performance under the theme "Heet Khao Nao Sattha." It portrays the deep faith and beliefs of the Phu Thai (ผู้ไท) people of Na Yung, Sri That District, Udon Thani Province, towards "Pho Anya Luang," their revered local guardian spirit believed to bring peace and protection to their descendants. The performance also vividly reflects the Phu Thai people's traditional way of life by incorporating the "Klong Tae"—originally an ancient tool used to chase away animals, now adapted as a rhythmic instrument for festivals. Furthermore, it features the "Fon Kado" dance, which ingeniously translates the daily movements of using traditional fishing tools into graceful choreography, showcasing the community's rich local wisdom.
