Luam Lai

"Luam Lai" is a creative Isan folk dance performance choreographed by the Sinsai Ponglang Band, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khon Kaen University. The performance is uniquely inspired by the local lifestyle and the famous "King Cobra Show" of the Ban Khok Sa-nga community (King Cobra Village) in Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province. The choreography features agile and graceful movements mimicking the slithering of a king cobra, highlighting the majestic, shimmering patterns ("Luam Lai") of its scales. The piece beautifully integrates local heritage with contemporary performing arts.
