"Nop Parami Nari Nakharat" is a magnificent and creative Isan dramatic art performance designed to praise the prestige of the 9 Naga Queen consorts (Nagi Dhevi) of the supreme Naga Lords of the underworld. The nine queens venerated in this piece are Queen Usa Anantawadee, Queen Si Nattanop, Queen Thongkham Si Pangtan, Queen Si Pathumma, Queen Rattanawadee Si Sattanayani, Queen Anyarin Sini, Queen Montra Mani Narumat, Queen Muyarin Ranee, and Queen Sirimaya Nakini. The performance beautifully conveys the deep faith and beliefs surrounding the mythical Nagas of the Mekong River basin through graceful choreography and powerful music, ultimately serving as a profound Buddhist offering.
