"Sangkhanta Maha Thewi" is a creative dramatic performance depicting the legendary myth of Maha Songkran. It tells the story of the seven daughters of Lord Kabinlaprom, widely known as the "Nang Songkran" (Songkran Goddesses): Tungsathewi, Korakhathewi, Raksasathewi, Monthathewi, Kirinithewi, Kimithathewi, and Mahothonthewi. Each year, one of the seven daughters takes her turn to respectfully carry their father's severed head in a procession around Mount Meru. This performance magnificently illustrates their divine beauty, distinctive attire, celestial weapons, and the unique animal vehicles associated with each of the seven goddesses.
