Fon Tai Phuan" (Nong Khai Dance Club Edition) is a performance originally choreographed by the Nong Khai Dance Club to preserve cultural heritage, and later propagated by the Kalasin College of Dramatic Arts. The piece reflects the history and migration of the Tai Phuan people from Xiangkhouang, Laos. It is distinguished by its graceful and delicate choreography, simulating the traditional lifestyle and greetings of the Tai Phuan community. The performers wear applied costumes inspired by traditional Tai Phuan attire, dancing to music that begins with the lyrics "Oh no... today is an excellent and auspicious day," which conveys the joy of gathering and socializing.
