Nat Leela Fa Yat (Fon Thida Fa Yat)

"Nat Leela Fa Yat" or "Fon Thida Fa Yat" is a creative dance performance choreographed in 1995 by students of the Kalasin College of Dramatic Arts, with musical composition by National Artist Plueang Chairasami. The choreography draws inspiration from Dvaravati-era stucco reliefs discovered at Phra That Yakhu in Kamalasai District, Kalasin. The delicate and graceful movements are blended with theatrical imagination to narrate the tragic local legend of Princess Fa Yat (the beautiful daughter of the ruler of Fa Daet Song Yang) and Phaya Chantharat of Chiang Som. The performance features historically inspired costumes that reflect the ancient city's past glory and prosperity.
